CUSTOMERS AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING UPON REGRISTRATION:
Laundry Service
The customers’ pick-up and delivery laundry service will be scheduled at designated times for their dormitory. Any changes to the time for pick-up or delivery at a specific location must be provided with at least 24 hours advanced notice. Laundry pick-up is available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the designated times. Laundry delivery will be available two days after pick-up. Clothes picked-up anytime on Friday will be available on the following Wednesday. Clothes will not be available for pick-up on weekends or University holidays. In the event our schedule permits, customers will be notified when clothes are ready for early delivery. Texas Proud Laundry is not responsible for the customer failing to meet the scheduled pick-up and delivery time. If the customer does miss their time, they will be able to receive their clothes on the following pick-up day.
Insurance
Texas Proud Laundry does not currently offer insurance on laundry services or personal clothing items. The customer agrees to claim any costs on their insurance.
Cancelation Policy
Fall Semester & Year Plans:
August 28 th – September 11th – Full refund. Less bag cost.
September 12th – September 25th - $30 Cancellation fee. Prorated refund given. Less bag cost.
September 26th – No refund.
Spring Semester Plans:
January 1st – January 31st – Full refund. Less bag cost.
February 1st – February 15th - $30 Cancellation fee. Prorated refund given. Less bag cost.
February 16th – No refund.
Plan Overages
The laundry service plan you choose has a limit of 15, 20, or 25 pounds per week. Any pounds exceeding your plans’ limit will be charged per pound. Should overages occur, you will receive an invoice at the beginning of the following month.
Renewal
For your convenience, your service plan is automatically renewed at the end of the first week of the service term. Cancelation policy applies thereafter.
Claims
Any and all claims, including differences in count, must be reported, and receipt provided, within 48 hours of delivery. Unless a list accompanies the bundle, our count must be accepted. Texas Proud Laundry liability with respect to any lost article shall not exceed 10 times our charge for processing it. Customer is responsible for any and all damage caused by any items left in its clothing or in the bags that cause any damage to the clothing, cleaning machines, or anything else.
Disclaimer
Texas Proud Laundry does not guarantee against color loss, bleeding, and shrinkage, or damage due to weak and tender fabrics. In no event shall Texas Proud Laundry be responsible for removal of stains. Texas Proud Laundry is also not responsible for any damage that is done to the laundry during normal washing such as buttons falling off. We do handle the clothes very delicately but manufacturer defects can cause damage that cannot be prevented. Texas Proud Laundry is not responsible for any non-washable items (i.e. dry cleaning only) that are put in your laundry bag. We will conduct a search of your pockets prior to washing; however, we are not responsible for any items left in pockets that may cause damage to your clothes. Any items found in pockets will be returned to you with your clothes.
Waiver
Except as explicitly provided in this Agreement, the Customer waives any claims for damage to, or loss of, any article against Texas Proud Laundry and its representatives. The Customer expressly releases and holds Texas Proud Laundry, and its representatives, agents, and employees harmless from any and all costs of processing any claim or defending any claim arising from this Agreement.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement and any documents referred to in this Agreement constitute the complete, exclusive, and entire agreement between the parties and may not be modified except in writing signed by both parties.
Choice of Law
This Agreement shall be governed, interpreted, and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Texas. The Customer agrees that any court action pertaining to this Agreement shall be conducted in courts in the State of Texas.
